I have been drinking from my Brita water filter for a few days now. This was probably the best thing I have spent my money on this year. The water in our area has always been very hard, but I only noticed it fully last year when I went on a company trip to a close-by place and the water there did miracles to my hair and skin - unlike the one at home. It also caused our kettles to look like stone quarry ... I now use the carbon filter which came with it and it seems to do the job well.
